My Test Certs Gas / How it works
No new kit and nothing to install to get started. If you can use your phone, you can use My Test Certs Gas.
About two minutes. Add your logo, your details and your bank details once. Then fill in a landlord gas safety record on a phone, both sign on screen, and send an invoice for the work.
The steps are written out below if you would rather read them.
Add your name, Gas Safe ID, company details and logo in your settings. They are printed on every certificate, so you only do this once.
It stays saved, so you can change it any time.
Choose what you are doing: a landlord check, a service, a commercial inspection. The app asks only the questions that certificate needs.
Your customers and properties are saved, so repeat jobs start with the details already in.
Add each appliance as you go and tick Pass or Fail. It works without signal and saves as you go, then syncs when you are back online.
A clear defects and remedial action section says what was found and what to do.
Sign with your finger, then pass the phone to the customer to sign and print their name. If they are not there, leave it blank.
No pens, no carbon copies.
Save the certificate as a PDF or print it. To email it, tap Send by email and the customer gets a secure link to the certificate.
Every certificate gets its own reference number.
Found something that needs fixing? Write a quote on the spot: what is wrong, a line for each part or job with its price, and VAT if you charge it. It carries your logo and details and gets its own reference number.
Save it as a PDF or email it to the customer, the same as a certificate.
Add job notes against a customer’s property: parts to order, things to check next time. Tick them off when done. The open ones show up when you start the next certificate or quote there.
Each address has its own list.
Your certificates stay in your account, so you can find a saved customer and open last year’s in seconds. You can download them all in one go.
They stay available for 24 months even if you stop subscribing.
Add your engineers to one company account. Each signs in with their own details, and you share the same customers and properties. From two engineers the price drops to £9 each a month.
Coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. It works in your phone browser today, on Android and iPhone.
